Mahogany frame "Klage über die undankbare Welt"
Beautiful wooden frame around a quite depressive prayer, but very esthetic.
"Klage über die undankbare Welt" Complain about the ungrateful world.
"ich bin schön undwenige lieben mich" I am beautiful but only few love me.
No need to translate all of it, we got it. It's a Jesus fan under Xanax who wrote it, it seems. Nevertheless, it is a beautiful image that will give a special twist to your hallway or guest bathroom.
Pauline tells you a story:
Mahogany is a kind of wood—the straight-grained, reddish-brown timber of three tropical hardwood species of the genus Swietenia, indigenous to the Americas, part of the pantropical chinaberry family, Meliaceae.
The name mahogany was initially associated only with those islands in the West Indies under British control (French colonists used the term acajou, while in the Spanish territories it was called caoba). The origin of the name is uncertain, but it could be a corruption of 'm'oganwo', the name used by the Yoruba and Ibo people of West Africa to describe trees of the genus Khaya, which is closely related to Swietenia. When transported to Jamaica as slaves, they gave the same name to the similar trees they saw there. Though this interpretation has been disputed, no one has suggested a more plausible origin.
